2011 Toyota Sequoia Columbus, OH
As the largest of Toyota’s SUVs, the Sequoia is built with a strong and tough truck-like exterior, with a comfortable, quality interior that has the ability to seat up to eight passengers. The 2011 Sequoia is offered in three different trims: SR5, Limited and Platinum, with either a 4.6- or 5.7-liter V8 engine and either a two- or four-wheel drive drivetrain.

The most basic option, the SR5, offers several variations of drivetrain and engine combinations. The rear-wheel drive SR5 comes with either a 310-hp 4.6-liter or 381-hp 5.7-liter V8 engine. The same engine options are offered in four-wheel drive, with an additional V8 Flex Fuel engine option. Standard in all SR5 models are 18-inch alloy wheels, a power moonroof, leather-trimmed tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel with audio, cruise control and Bluetooth® controls, three-zone automatic climate control, an eight-speaker audio system with iPod® and Bluetooth® connectivity and satellite radio integration. The SR5 also offers a Sport Package that gives the model a few additional upgrades.
The Limited is also offered in either rear- or all-wheel drive with the 381-hp 5.7-liter V8 engine, and has the Flex Fuel engine option for the four-wheel drive model. Added to all Limited models are 20-inch alloy wheels, chrome exterior accents on the mirrors, grille and door handles, and a fourteen-speaker audio system with satellite radio integration, a six-disc CD changer, iPod® and Bluetooth® connectivity.
For an even more upscale option, there is the Sequoia Platinum. The Platinum model offers the same drivetrain and engine options as the Limited with the rear- or all-wheel drive, 381-hp 5.7-liter V8 engine, but adds a few luxurious extras. These extra features include 20-inch diamond-cut finish alloy wheels, heated and ventilated passenger seats, a voice-activated touch-screen DVD navigation system, fourteen-speaker audio system with XM Satellite Radio and XM NavTraffic® integration, backup monitor, four-disc CD changer, iPod® and Bluetooth® connectivity, and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system.
The Sequoia provides quality safety features that come standard on all its models. Some of these features include a Star Safety System™ with Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Anti-Lock Brake System with Electric Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist. Other Sequoia safety features are 3-point seatbelts in all positions with an Emergency Locking Retractor feature, driver and front passenger seat-mounted side airbags and all-row roll-sensing side curtain airbags, daytime running lights, and anti-theft and engine immobilizer systems.
The Toyota Sequoia has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Most Dependable Large Multi-Activity Vehicle, Four Years in a Row by J.D. Power and Associates. For 2011, U.S. News & World Report named it the Best Car for the Money. This reliable, high-quality SUV proves to stand-out among the rest in its class.
